PreneurNET® Maintenance/Upgrade Advisory - Sunday, July 12th, 2009 - 8AM-12PM EST WINDOW

HostNOC Network Engineering staff will be performing an upgrade in our Philadelphia POP during the hours of 8AM to 12PM EST on Sunday, July 12th, 2009. At this time, PreneurNET® Network Engineering datacenter counterpart will be upgrading/replacing the existing Cisco switchgear with newer Cisco equipment that supports 10-Gigabit speeds.

This maintenance is necessary to upgrade the datacenter network to 10-Gibabit speeds over the next 30 days, and increase the overall transit/transport capacity of the network.

This upgrade is NOT expected to be service affecting, due to the redundant nature/configuration of our network. However, users may experience brief/minimal periods of latency or routing issues/changes, while switches and/or cabling is being changed/relocated.
